Глава 23

1 Давид, состаревшись и на сытившись днями жизни, поставил царем над Израилем сына своего Соломона.

2 И собрал всех князей Израилевых и священников и левитов;

3 И исчислены были левиты от тридцати лет и выше; и было число их, считая поголовно, тридцать восемь тысяч мужеского пола.

4 Из них двадцать четыре тысячи должны были наблюдать за делами в доме Господа; шесть тысяч было надзирателей и судей.

5 Четыре тысячи привратников, и четыре тысячи прославляющих Господа на музыкальных орудиях, которые я сделал, говорил Давид, для прославления.

6 И разделил их Давид на череды по сынам Левия: Гирсону, Каафу, и Мерари,

7 Из Гирсонян были: Лаедан и Шимей.

8 Сыновья Лаедана: первый Иехиил, потом Зефам и Иоиль, трое.

9 Сыновья Шимея: Шеломиф, Хазиил и Аран, три. Они были главы поколений Лаедановых.

10 Сыновья Шимея: Иахаф, Зиза, Иеуш и Берия, это сыновья Шимея, четыре.

11 Иахаф был первый, Зиза вторый, а Иеуш и Берия имели детей немного, и потому при переписи сочтены за одно поколение.

12 Сыновья Каафа: Амрам, Ицгар, Хеврон и Узиил, четыре.

13 Сыновья Амрама: Аарон и Моисей. Аарон отделен на то, чтоб посвятили его, как великую святыню, его и сыновей его навек, для того, чтобы совершать курения пред лицом Господа, служить Ему и благословлять именем Его вечно.

14 А Моисей, человек Божий, - его сыновья известны под общим названием колена Левиина.

15 Сыновья Моисея: Гирсом и Елиезер.

16 Сыновья Гирсома: Шевуил главный.

17 Сыновья Елиезера были: Рехавия, главный. Других сыновей у Елиезера не было. А у Рехавии сыновей было весьма много.

18 Сыновья Ицгара: первый Шеломиф.

19 Сыновья Хеврона: первый Иерия, вторый Амария, третий Иахазиил, четвертый Иехамам.

20 Сыновья Узиила: первый Миха и второй Ишшия.

21 Сыновья Мерарины: Махли и Муши. Сыновья Махлия: Елеазар и Кис.

22 И умер Елеазар, и не было у него сыновей, а только дочери, и взяли их за себя сыновья Киса, братья их.

23 Сыновья Мушия: Махли, Едер и Иремоф, три.

24 Вот сыновья Левиины по поколениям их, по главам поколений, в том порядке, как они внесены в перепись по числу имен, поголовно, которые отправляли дела службы при доме Господа, от двадцати лет и выше.

25 Поелику Давид сказал: Господь, Бог Израилев, дал покой народу Своему, и водворился в Иерусалиме навек;

26 И Левитам не нужно носить скинию и всякие вещи ее, потребные для ней, -

27 То по последним повелениям Давида в сей счет Левиты внесены от двадцати лет и выше.

28 Они, под надзором сынов Аароновых, становились на службу при доме Господа на дворах, и в покоях, и для содержания в чистоте всего священного, и на разные дела, требуемые при доме Божием.

29 Находились при заготовлении хлебов предложения, и пшеничной муки для хлебного приношения, и пресных блинов при сковороде, и при напитывании муки елеем, и при всяком раздавании и отмеривании.

30 Каждое утро они должны были становиться, чтобы славословить и хвалить Господа, тоже и вечером;

31 И при всех всесожжениях, возносимых Господу в субботы, новомесячия и праздники, по числу, по их уставу, они должны были всегда быть пред лицом Господа.

32 Содержали в своем охранении скинию собрания и все священное, и прислуживали братьям своим, сынам Аароновым, в делах требуемых при доме Господа.

1 Chronicles

Chapter 23

1 WHEN David was old and full of days, he made Solomon his son king over Israel.

2 And he gathered together all the elders of the priests and the Levites.

3 Now the Levites were numbered from the age of thirty years and upward; and their number by their polls, man by man, was thirty-eight thousand.

4 Of them David appointed overseers over the work of the house of the LORD, twenty-four men over every thousand workers; and judges and scribes, six men over each hundred workers

5 To look after the building, to carry on their work, to oversee the resources and the work, and to give an accounting of wealth and the alms which they had distributed to the poor.

6 And David appointed administrators and managers over the poor and needy, to provide and distribute to the poor; one person over each ten, and they lacked nothing. And David appointed them all in their courses according to the sons of Levi; namely, Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

7 Of the Gershonites were Ladan and Shimei.

8 The sons of Ladan: his first-born was Nahliel, and then Jotham and Joel, three.

9 And the sons of Shimei: Shelomoth, Haziel, and Aran, three. These were the chiefs of the fathers of Shimei.

10 And the sons of Shimei were, Nahat, Zabda, Jeush, and Beriah. These were the four sons of Shimei

11 And Nahat was his first-born, Zabda the second; but Jeush and Beriah did not have many sons; therefore they were included in their father's family as one.

12 The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel, four.

13 The sons of Amram: Aaron and Moses; and Aaron was chosen to minister in the Holy of Holies, he and his sons for ever, to burn incense before the LORD, to minister to him, and to bless in his name for ever.

14 Now as for Moses the prophet of God, his sons were named among the tribe of Levi.

15 The sons of Moses were Gershon and Eliezer.

16 The son of Gershon was Samuel his first-born.

17 And the son of Eliezer was Arhimah his first-born. And Eliezer had no other sons; but the son of Arhimah was Ribbi his first-born.

18 And the son of Izhar was Shelomith his first-born.

19 The sons of Hebron: Joda his first-born, Amariah the second, Nahzaiel the third, and Nakmaiel the fourth.

20 The sons of Uzziel: Micah his first-born and Shoh the second.

21 The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. The sons of Mahli: Eleazar and Kish.

22 And Eleazar died, and had no sons, but daughters; and the sons of their uncle Kish took them for wives in marriage.

23 The sons of Mushi: Mahli, Eder, and Jeremoth, three.

24 These were the sons of Levi after the house of their fathers, even the chiefs of the fathers, as they were counted by number of names by their polls, who were overseers over the work for the service of the house of the LORD, from the age of twenty years and upward.

25 For David said, The LORD God of Israel has given rest to his people, and he dwells in Jerusalem for ever;

26 And he also said to the Levites that they should carry the tabernacle and all the vessels for the service thereof.

27 For by the last words of David the Levites were numbered from twenty years old and upward,

28 Because he appointed them to the office to help the sons of Aaron to be overseers in the house of the LORD, over those who sound with straight and curved trumpets, and over the chambers in which the holy vessels of the LORD were stored;

29 And over the shewbread and the fine flour for meal offering and the unleavened cakes and over all those who sing and offer thanks,

30 And that they might arise every morning to thank and praise the LORD, and likewise at evening,

31 And to offer burnt offerings to the LORD on the sabbaths, in the new moons, and on the days of set feasts, by number, according to the order commanded to them, continually before the LORD,

32 And that they should have charge of the vessels of the tabernacle of the congregation and charge of the vessels of the sanctuary and charge of the sons of Aaron their brethren when they were needed to minister in the house of the LORD.

1 Давид, состаревшись и на сытившись днями жизни, поставил царем над Израилем сына своего Соломона.

1 WHEN David was old and full of days, he made Solomon his son king over Israel.

2 И собрал всех князей Израилевых и священников и левитов;

2 And he gathered together all the elders of the priests and the Levites.

3 И исчислены были левиты от тридцати лет и выше; и было число их, считая поголовно, тридцать восемь тысяч мужеского пола.

3 Now the Levites were numbered from the age of thirty years and upward; and their number by their polls, man by man, was thirty-eight thousand.

4 Из них двадцать четыре тысячи должны были наблюдать за делами в доме Господа; шесть тысяч было надзирателей и судей.

4 Of them David appointed overseers over the work of the house of the LORD, twenty-four men over every thousand workers; and judges and scribes, six men over each hundred workers

5 Четыре тысячи привратников, и четыре тысячи прославляющих Господа на музыкальных орудиях, которые я сделал, говорил Давид, для прославления.

5 To look after the building, to carry on their work, to oversee the resources and the work, and to give an accounting of wealth and the alms which they had distributed to the poor.

6 И разделил их Давид на череды по сынам Левия: Гирсону, Каафу, и Мерари,

6 And David appointed administrators and managers over the poor and needy, to provide and distribute to the poor; one person over each ten, and they lacked nothing. And David appointed them all in their courses according to the sons of Levi; namely, Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

7 Из Гирсонян были: Лаедан и Шимей.

7 Of the Gershonites were Ladan and Shimei.

8 Сыновья Лаедана: первый Иехиил, потом Зефам и Иоиль, трое.

8 The sons of Ladan: his first-born was Nahliel, and then Jotham and Joel, three.

9 Сыновья Шимея: Шеломиф, Хазиил и Аран, три. Они были главы поколений Лаедановых.

9 And the sons of Shimei: Shelomoth, Haziel, and Aran, three. These were the chiefs of the fathers of Shimei.

10 Сыновья Шимея: Иахаф, Зиза, Иеуш и Берия, это сыновья Шимея, четыре.

10 And the sons of Shimei were, Nahat, Zabda, Jeush, and Beriah. These were the four sons of Shimei

11 Иахаф был первый, Зиза вторый, а Иеуш и Берия имели детей немного, и потому при переписи сочтены за одно поколение.

11 And Nahat was his first-born, Zabda the second; but Jeush and Beriah did not have many sons; therefore they were included in their father's family as one.

12 Сыновья Каафа: Амрам, Ицгар, Хеврон и Узиил, четыре.

12 The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel, four.

13 Сыновья Амрама: Аарон и Моисей. Аарон отделен на то, чтоб посвятили его, как великую святыню, его и сыновей его навек, для того, чтобы совершать курения пред лицом Господа, служить Ему и благословлять именем Его вечно.

13 The sons of Amram: Aaron and Moses; and Aaron was chosen to minister in the Holy of Holies, he and his sons for ever, to burn incense before the LORD, to minister to him, and to bless in his name for ever.

14 А Моисей, человек Божий, - его сыновья известны под общим названием колена Левиина.

14 Now as for Moses the prophet of God, his sons were named among the tribe of Levi.

15 Сыновья Моисея: Гирсом и Елиезер.

15 The sons of Moses were Gershon and Eliezer.

16 Сыновья Гирсома: Шевуил главный.

16 The son of Gershon was Samuel his first-born.

17 Сыновья Елиезера были: Рехавия, главный. Других сыновей у Елиезера не было. А у Рехавии сыновей было весьма много.

17 And the son of Eliezer was Arhimah his first-born. And Eliezer had no other sons; but the son of Arhimah was Ribbi his first-born.

18 Сыновья Ицгара: первый Шеломиф.

18 And the son of Izhar was Shelomith his first-born.

19 Сыновья Хеврона: первый Иерия, вторый Амария, третий Иахазиил, четвертый Иехамам.

19 The sons of Hebron: Joda his first-born, Amariah the second, Nahzaiel the third, and Nakmaiel the fourth.

20 Сыновья Узиила: первый Миха и второй Ишшия.

20 The sons of Uzziel: Micah his first-born and Shoh the second.

21 Сыновья Мерарины: Махли и Муши. Сыновья Махлия: Елеазар и Кис.

21 The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. The sons of Mahli: Eleazar and Kish.

22 И умер Елеазар, и не было у него сыновей, а только дочери, и взяли их за себя сыновья Киса, братья их.

22 And Eleazar died, and had no sons, but daughters; and the sons of their uncle Kish took them for wives in marriage.

23 Сыновья Мушия: Махли, Едер и Иремоф, три.

23 The sons of Mushi: Mahli, Eder, and Jeremoth, three.

24 Вот сыновья Левиины по поколениям их, по главам поколений, в том порядке, как они внесены в перепись по числу имен, поголовно, которые отправляли дела службы при доме Господа, от двадцати лет и выше.

24 These were the sons of Levi after the house of their fathers, even the chiefs of the fathers, as they were counted by number of names by their polls, who were overseers over the work for the service of the house of the LORD, from the age of twenty years and upward.

25 Поелику Давид сказал: Господь, Бог Израилев, дал покой народу Своему, и водворился в Иерусалиме навек;

25 For David said, The LORD God of Israel has given rest to his people, and he dwells in Jerusalem for ever;

26 И Левитам не нужно носить скинию и всякие вещи ее, потребные для ней, -

26 And he also said to the Levites that they should carry the tabernacle and all the vessels for the service thereof.

27 То по последним повелениям Давида в сей счет Левиты внесены от двадцати лет и выше.

27 For by the last words of David the Levites were numbered from twenty years old and upward,

28 Они, под надзором сынов Аароновых, становились на службу при доме Господа на дворах, и в покоях, и для содержания в чистоте всего священного, и на разные дела, требуемые при доме Божием.

28 Because he appointed them to the office to help the sons of Aaron to be overseers in the house of the LORD, over those who sound with straight and curved trumpets, and over the chambers in which the holy vessels of the LORD were stored;

29 Находились при заготовлении хлебов предложения, и пшеничной муки для хлебного приношения, и пресных блинов при сковороде, и при напитывании муки елеем, и при всяком раздавании и отмеривании.

29 And over the shewbread and the fine flour for meal offering and the unleavened cakes and over all those who sing and offer thanks,

30 Каждое утро они должны были становиться, чтобы славословить и хвалить Господа, тоже и вечером;

30 And that they might arise every morning to thank and praise the LORD, and likewise at evening,

31 И при всех всесожжениях, возносимых Господу в субботы, новомесячия и праздники, по числу, по их уставу, они должны были всегда быть пред лицом Господа.

31 And to offer burnt offerings to the LORD on the sabbaths, in the new moons, and on the days of set feasts, by number, according to the order commanded to them, continually before the LORD,

32 Содержали в своем охранении скинию собрания и все священное, и прислуживали братьям своим, сынам Аароновым, в делах требуемых при доме Господа.

32 And that they should have charge of the vessels of the tabernacle of the congregation and charge of the vessels of the sanctuary and charge of the sons of Aaron their brethren when they were needed to minister in the house of the LORD.
